Terms of Use
Last updated: 11 October 2026
These terms apply to the MedScan IQ app and this website. By using the app you also agree to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which governs the licence to use the app.
Medical information: MedScan IQ provides general health information for education. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. It does not replace a doctor, pharmacist or other healthcare professional. Never ignore professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you read in the app. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
How answers are made
Answers are generated automatically from the information you provide and may be incomplete or wrong. Check important information against the official sources linked in the app and with a healthcare professional before acting on it. Photos of skin, food or prescriptions can be misread, especially if they are blurry or poorly lit.
Subscriptions
- MedScan IQ Pro and MedScan Skin Pro are monthly auto-renewing subscriptions purchased through the App Store.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
- A subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple.
Acceptable use
Do not use the app to harm yourself or others, to try to obtain unsafe information, or to attempt to reverse engineer, overload or misuse the service.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" without warranties, and we are not liable for decisions made based on information in the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
